What is Calamarine?
Calamarine is a uniquely important ingredient in many of Dr. Stephen Sinatra’s new Omega-3 fish oil supplements, especially his Omega Q Plus supplement. Calamarine is an omega-3 fish oil that comes from calamari (squid) caught in the very pure waters near South America. The life cycle of these squid is so short that their oil is extremely pure and clean, even before processed in a state-of-the-art facility in Norway built expressly for this purpose. Here the oil is extracted and purified, ensuring that it is fresh, potent and full of beneficial omega-3’s.
Calamarine is the most stable, sustainable source of omega-3 fish oils on earth and contains 85% more DHA (an omega-3 fatty acid) than regular fish oil. It also contains vital EPA fats. These are the active ingredients that make Calamarine such an important powerhouse of good health for your heart, brain and eyes.
Because it’s so fresh, Calamarine has no taste whatsoever. This is a boon to those who can’t ingest regular fish oil capsules produced from oily fish or cod liver because such sources either leave a fishy taste in the mouth with fishy breath, or typically produce “repeats” of fishy tastes.
What can Calamarine do for you?
As an omega-3 oil, Calamarine has been linked to the improvement of heart arrhythmias, blood pressure, lipoprotein levels, arterial inflammation, HDL (“good”) cholesterol and endothelial function. Calamarine may help in protecting against coronary heart disease and stroke, may promote brain and skin health, and may help minimize effects of autoimmune disorders and Crohn’s disease. It also may protect against some forms of cancers, help alleviate the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and also alleviate mild depression.
Because the diet of most Americans is low in omega-3 fatty acids, an omega-3 supplement may be an important benefit to overall health and vitality. Our ancestors consumed a diet that contained twenty times more omega-3 than the diet we consume today. Whereas they had no need for additional omega-3 fatty oils, we may, and we can augment that need with daily all-natural and beneficial dietary supplements.
